That's a good question. I use online printing a lot, mostly Shutterfly, and sometimes the service directly through iPhoto. It's particularly nice when you have the lab send prints directly to family or clients, saving me the shipping effort.


But there are times when I just want a couple 4x6s, and I want them now. That's when I got frustrated with inkjets. I was spending too much time fiddling around just to get a snapshot.


So the CP-220 fits between Shutterfly and inkjets. It's immediate and hassle free. And for what I consider a reasonable price for the convenience. BTW: these printers have a very compact footprint.
