I tried it, and the samples work cool, I think the messaging API is missing a persistent parameter, I know that JMS has something like that. Can I send persistent messages with PHPMQ?

  All messages sent by PHPMQ are marked persistent.
  It is a good idea to add a persistent parameter to the publishMessage and enqueue methods. This will help you disable the persistency when you do not need it .
  I will add a feature request and add this feature to the next release.
