I snapped a similar picture three years ago, when my daughter was about the same age. It wasn't staged--I was reading the book myself, and went for a drink of water. When I came back, she was "reading". But it just goes to show you--you have to be careful what you expose your kids to. I'm concerned that she may be scarred for life by reading Perl 5 code. I'd have felt better if it would have been something more healthy, but one takes life as it comes. <img src="http://www.lesher.ws/images/brynn_perl.jpg">

  I was so proud when my daughters first bang couple of bangs on a keyboard brought up #!
  
  The hash I understand, but the bang's still a mystery as its that bit harder. I'm sure some of the stuff she's churning out now are regular expressions
