I feel compelled to challenge this kind of thing every time I see it. Most people on the planet have not yet used a telephone (despite the quick spread of mobiles through Africa), do not own CD's and probably don't yet have the closets for their as-yet undreamed of media server. Computers are the playthings of a largish minority of the wealthiest people on the globe. Let's not just dismiss the majority of human beings with a glib phrase, please.
