i've used IBM's ViaVoice. it's fair. the other one available is iListen. BUT they both require you to talk into your computer. i don't know of any way to record into your iPod or other recorder then download the file into your Mac and have the voice recognition software do its thing. have you heard of anything???? |

Not surprising.
I will just keep plugging away with my mini cassette recorders and transcriber.
If you are doing qualitatative research as I do, being "close" to the data is very important, both in transcribing and in analyzing the data, Nudst and other programs not withstanding.
Too bad there isn't something that can allow control with the ipod.
