Hi!
First of all, thank you very much for your feedback!
As you can see in part two of this series (now published), this article is intended for travelers who are going through unknown places and/or countries.
Although network locations can be used to create a general "AirPort (DHCP)", "Ethernet (DHCP)", ... -type setup, they don't really apply in the case of our "traveler" -- since setting up a location requires that you know the network in advance.
