Yes, it was written from the ground up in Cocoa, Lexar is committed to supporting Mac and Windows. We try to release the Mac and Windows products at the same time, sometimes that just doesn't work out.
When partitioning the JumpDrive the JumpDrive application is saved and restored to the drive. User data however is not saved and restored. You should not have to do this manually, if you really do that is a bug and we need to fix it.
There is a Contextual Menu item when right clicking on the JumpDrive icon on the Desktop that will open the JumpDrive application.
The JumpDrive is localized for French, Spanish, German and Japanese although the version you tested may not contain the localizations.
