A reader pointed out that gcc usually includes g77 for Fortran. But the gcc man page on Panther says "...Apple does not currently support the compilation of Fortran, Ada, or Java, although there are third parties who have made these work..." They suggest Gaurav Khanna 's Gaurav Khanna 's site if you're interested in running Fortran.
