Office 2004 does an interesting thing where it launches a crash reporter app every time an Office app crashes, and sends the crash data back to Microsoft.


Of course, this means they know I usually work on my book on Wednesdays and Fridays, because I was crashing about five times a day when I was writing in Word. Now I'm writing in Mariner Write and just transferring to Word when the chapter text is done and I need to suffer through formatting.
