I have long been a supporter and developer of HyperCard. It was a revelation to me the summer it was released and I officially became a Registered Apple Developer. I went on to create a successful HC tool (StackEditor) and earned the respect of HC authors Goodman and Dan Shafer. To see the depths to which this amazing product has fallen is truly shameful, and I for on would love to see it become open-source to allow it to thrive and become what it was originally meant to be: a powerful tool for everyone and an amazing introduction to programming concepts that even a child could learn from easily.
