Thank you very much for your kind words, I really do appreciate it!


The fourth part of this series is, as you can imagine, already completed. However, I always welcome your suggestions and will be sure to look into the issue should I publish about SSH again in the future :-)


Meanwhile, you can have a look into the O'Reilly book I suggested, "SSH the secure shell".

    I would second this question - we would love to be able to allow users to SSH into the server and permit

    1) a limited set of commands (gzip, tar, etc)
    2) no access to any other user's documents

    Is this something that can be covered in an email, if not in the article? Are there any definitive resources for this on the web?

    Thanks for any pointers you can provide!
