In fact this card has two DVI connections. Each connection drives half of the screen. The card comes with a dual dual link so you can drive two screens. Not quite. Each single DVI connector drives one 30-inch screen. If you've ever looked at the DVI cable that comes with a regular flat panel, you may have noticed that it only uses 18 of the 27 pins. The new display uses them all. That's why the 30-inch cannot be driven by a regular card. |
