Just get the sources via cvs and modify the file
xc/programs/Xserver/hw/darwin/darwin.c
change the line
#define QUARTZ_DEFAULT_ROOTLESS 0
to
#define QUARTZ_DEFAULT_ROOTLESS 1
compile, install, run, and - yippie - it's rootless.


BTW: Oroborus is the ideal Windowmanager for rootless X on X.
