My understanding is that even if an update were available, the carrier (AT&T Wireless) would provide it. So, you might want to contact AT&T Wireless and voice your opinion to them too.


The other item to consider is that the AT&T Wireless version of the MPx200 is dual band for 1800/1900MHz. AT&T Wireless is switching to 850/1900. Here's an article that explains the situation:
