Not owning any Bluetooth devices of my own, why couldn't you transfer your photos straight from your Bluetooth phone to your Bluetooth-enabled computer? Does it vary by phone?

    Not a silly question at all. Yes you can. And if you have your computer with you all the time, this is a great way to go. Just make sure you organize your stuff in some sort of digital shoebox so you don't have files spread all over the place.

    For me, I don't always want to lug around my PowerBook around to share pictures or pull them off my camera phone which has limited storage. PDAs are terrific for this because they fit in the digital hub nicely.

    It's really a matter of preference. I've articulated the complete workflow, and you can pick and choose as needed.
