While I can't comment on the wording of a license that has been released yet, the response from the open source community should be well-considered and thoughtful. In other words, take this announcement for what it is worth and don't succumb to a visceral reaction equating All Things From Microsoft with Pure Evil. As the man says, they are in business to make money. That is not the same as being in business to foster an intellectual conversation or an altruistic pursuit of the "best" software. That Microsoft seems to be making a clear distinction between the GPL and the FreeBSD-style license is no surprise.
