I tried the script, replacing the my file structure for the one shown and restarted the machine. Tomcat did not start. I went to the terminal and typed in /Library/Tomcat/bin/startup.sh and Tomcat started. Any idea what is wrong. Tomcat is in /Library/Tomcat.

  Problem is it is in the wrong directory, as the article says, it should be in:
  
  /Library/StartupItems/Tomcat
