I received a note from a reader who points out that the HostRelauncher in Timbuktu seems to be controlled by a TB2 preference:


If you turn OFF the general pref


"Only accept incoming connections when application is open"


Then the the relauncher will no longer attempt to launch the TB2 daemon.
