Umm. I think we may have crossed wires somewhere. I don't recall saying anything about building projects in isolation. But, no offense taken on my part in any case. Best wishes in your efforts!   Correct. I was referring to me, sorry for the confusion. Some of those citied in your prior link seemed to have built single purpose applications, for which "large scale collaboration" is not necessary or even desired.
