Exchange of information is the prime driver of the internet. XML allows definition and transfer of discrete pieces. SOAP/.NET supplies the vehicle for lighterweight objects than CORBA.


I am very excited to be able to compile into CLI producing objectules (you heard it here first), using Perl/XML, and supplying functionality for my clientele. So cool!


But I would rather do it via open source.
