This is a very possible problem. When you upgrade your operating system from, let's say Win98 to WinXP, there are many thousands of hotkey changes, registry changes, and in some areas, less short-cuts, and in some areas, MANY more shortcuts to make your system run more efficiently, sometimes using one shortcut in the reg. to run many apps., and sometimes many SMALL shorts to run just one app. I know it sounds confusing. Although Xp runs faster and is SO much more reliable than anything in the past, It's a lot bigger O.S. You'd think it would be simpler and smaller because it runs so much better on the same system than the earlier operating systems. IF ANYONE HAS ANY QUESTIONS, YOU CAN ALSO CONTACT ME AT honeydo1@warpdriveonline.com I'd be happy to help anyone, as I was one of many on the original design team at Microsoft, for Windows XP. If I could tell you what's coming up in 2005 at M-soft as far as XP's successor goes, you'd go absolutely CRAZY. But, due to confidentiality agreements (many of them), between M-soft and I, I'd lose everything if I open my mouth. Let's put it this way....It'll revolutionize the computer world in a "nano-second!" So for now, if anyone needs help, email me. I'll help. |
