I um... received the following message when I used the "sudo periodic daily" command: "We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System Administrator. It usually boils down to two things: #1) Respect the privacy of others. #2) Think before you type." Is this normal??? iBook 600Mhz Mac OS 10.2.8

  Don't worry ! This is perfectly normal !
  
  Indeed, you receive this message because this is the first time that you use the "sudo" command that allows you to gain additional privileges for a short period of time.
  
  Since these privileges allow you to perform some very powerful tasks, Mac OS X warns you to use them with care.
