  Dont buy a tivo they suck, bye a tv tuner card and a big hard drive in ur computer and save it to ur computer its much better and less expencive so buy a computer not a tivo its much better, bitch

  Well, that's a real stupid post. Sorry world, another PC wienie showed up and wasted your bandwidth. Obviously dweeb-o here never used a Tivo. I don't know why a series 2 Tivo won't see a larger drive, though. That's an OS issue.

  Yeah no crap. What a loser. At least learn to spell words completely and maybe someone will listen to you. As an owner of both a Tivo AND a htpc (4 tuners), they both have their strengths and weaknesses. Tivo simply works better for daily use, although upgrading to desktop plus with 2.7 is breaking xp's media center for some reason. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. I use my tivo as a media center extender (sharing videos, audio, and pictures with the tivo), while the pc functions as a tivo extender letting me watch recorded tivo shows on any of my computers. They work great together. Get them both, retard. You'll fall all over yourself apologizing for being a waste of dna. Next thing you know, you'll be begging us to install mythbuntu or something.
