Oly 2100 UZ works fine. What you didn't address and I can't make work is having someone across the internet accessing the camera. This from Apple: Want to share the bounty of your digital images? No problem. Image Capture lets others access the contents of your digital camera or scanner over a Rendezvous network. Or even over the Internet. With your camera connected to your Panther system, others can access and download your images from any web browser on any platform. When you check enable websharing in IC it gives you a URL: http://10.0.1.2:xxx/ but when a friend tries it no joy. In fact how can it work?

  Well, this is my take on "Internet sharing" as described for Image Capture in Panther. I think what they *meant* to say was that you can share with any computer over the "same" network. When this is enabled, you can give others on your network the IP address displayed in the sharing window, and regardless of if they have Rendezvous or not, they can access your camera. I could be wrong, but that's the way it looks to me.

  You're right and if it is so instead of a checkbox for Web Sharing, it would be more accurate to indicate it is LAN sharing.
  If it was to be Web Sharing one would have to have the user's external IP address be part of the URL which I guess isn't doable.

  You actually could connect from anywhere on the net... you just need to have the right set of ports open so that you know the exact ip/port of your machine.

  is not an internet address, it's just a local address. websharing has the same issue... there are numerous tutorials on how to set this up around the net.
