Doesn't work very well. I purchased a Buffalo WLA-54G based on needing an 11g bridge (my wet-11 had served well up to this point). Setup was easy enough, but performance is less than satisfactory. Trying to perform large data transfers to machines hanging off the wla-54g's switch ports causes that port to hang in a similar manner to a poorly supported linux wireless card (prism2 users will know what I mean). I think the wi-fi certified firmware is the culprit but I cannot find a copy of the old firmware to go back to. |
