Use Platypus (at http://sveinbjorn.vefsyn.is/software ) to build the launcher, and stick the Tcl scripts in the resources directory of the application.

  Thanks for the link - Platypus looks like it would be helpful for a lot of apps. In this case, the needs are a bit more complex than what it would support: shipping a custom interpreter (the Starpack) rather than relying on an existing interpreter and just scripts, more complex interaction between the GUI and the underlying server (both feedback and control), etc. So its a bit more than just a simple launcher.
