Nope. rsync and cvs both clobber resource forks. Not a big deal for many file formats, but for a few, it's a huge deal. Luckily, all of the file formats that I work with don't suffer when their resource forks are stripped.

  I'm curious. For which few is it a huge deal? I'd like to set up a "myDisk" on my FTP server to sync bookmarks, preferences, and occasionally a few documents.
  
  Also, is there a way to get around the Finder's limitation of putting files to a FTP server? I can PUT via terminal so it seems like there must be a workaround to drag and drop right into a disk mounted in the finder. Any help would be much appreciated.
