By Jove, some excellent ideas. When I become World Java Dictator, you will be appointed Secretary for Sun Checker. I'm not kidding! :-) Your syntax is transparently better, and I hope the JDK gang can still make some tactical U-turns. We'll know soon -- do your ideas pop up in some low-level Sun blogs 'n news postings 'n stuff?
