This open source libraries are much better than jsf.
It's really like programming a Swing application for the web
Echo is the event based framework, echopoint is a package of some pre-made components (tables, date pickers, color choosers, progress bars, etc).
I managed to code web apps (and add/modify features to them) in a matter of minutes.
