My words... I've switched from CVS to Perforce some months ago and I didn't regret it for just one second ever since...
It's a very nice system, you've got CLI, Web and GUI interfaces to it and what I really like about it is that it doesn't put any metadata in your workspace (sandbox, whatever you call it). Forget all the problems with CVS and NIB files and using cvswrappers etc...
Plus it runs on probably every platform you'll encounter....
