For educational PWM applets you can visit http://www.ipes.ethz.ch/ipes/PWMsimpel/e_pwmsimpel.html and, more advanced, http://www.ipes.ethz.ch/ipes/Inverter/e_H_Bruecke.html. The applets are used in a 5th semester course on basic power electronics, and there is a 3rd semester course where students have to program their own PWM applets (should finally look like http://www.ipes.ethz.ch/ipes/2002hoch/e_hochBuck.html).
