As part of the ongoing (as yet totally up in the air) discussion of how to integrate RSS and comments Phil pointed me to this article, and its critical, possibly disatrous bug.
The annotation module is used for documenting CHILD to PARENT relationships, for a comment to point at the originating entry, not for an entry to point to its comments.
I realize the cat is already out of the proverbial bag a bit on this one, but if the article could be updated to correct this error then there is a chance that the annotation module (which is a really nice bit of low impact spec judo) could be useful again, and we might even have comments in RSS aggregators for Xmas.
Thanks
Kellan
