I'm the author of the script and I just wanted to thank you for your marvelous words. You just sold a book because you are a superb writer! On my page describing the script I even have a section titled "Braggadocia" but I didn't do nearly as well as you. The imagery of finding files in the Trash, safe and sound, is fantastic. When I read about the, "principle of least surprise", I laughed out loud!
I also wanted to take this opportunity to mention that I now name this script "rmm" on my machine. Makefiles use rm extensively and if they invoke the script, they make quite a mess in the trash. While it's possible to have interactive and non-interactive paths, it's simpler to use a different name.
Thanks again for the great words.

I heard if you play the NT-4.0-CD backwards, you get a satanic message.
That's nothing, if you play it forward, it installs NT-4.0
