Maybe I am simply misunderstanding something, but I figured I would go ahead and ask.


In the graphic for the tree, it seems to be saying that node 3 is a child of node 4. Further, it seems to say that every node other then the root is a child of node 2. Clearly, I am misunderstanding something here.


Could someone please explain what it is I'm missing?
