What does this mean (I've ssh'd into my linux box from my imac. imac is an entry in /etc/hosts): xhost +imac Xlib: connection to "192.168.1.20:0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified xhost: unable to open display "192.168.1.20:0" Thanks for your help

  On your Mac, type "xhost+ yourlinuxbox", and on the linux machine, type "export DISPLAY=imac:0.0" and it should work.
