Do these security mesures prevent Target disk mode access? For those who don't know, Target disk mode allows your system to appear as an external Firewire drive to another computer. You start the system up and hold down the "T" key until a Firewire logo appears on the screen. (And yes, I remember that this trick is not exclusive to Firewire, it also worked back in the SCSI days.)

  This is the one thing I did not test, because I never use this mode. But, if it requires a key sequence like holding down T while booting, then you will not get into it once you have set a security mode and a password.

  I figured this out by chance! After password prompt,
  type "target-mode".
