A minor correction:
Apps don't need Jaguar to to take advantage of OpenGL and, in fact. are oblivious to the fact that Jaguar accelerates window presentation and management via OpenGL. Keynote uses OpenGL directly - probably through the Cocoa NSOpenGLView.
