Microsoft shipped TIMESERV.EXE on the NT 4.0 Resource kit.
On NT derived products, Win2K and WinXP, this has
been replaced by a default installation of W32TIME.
The annoying gotcha for most laptop or "non domain" users
is that the thing is set to synchonize via NTP to your
Primary Domain Controller (PDC). This can be
overriden. See:
