I live in California. I'm as outraged as Karl about ICANN's behavior. (If that's possible.) But, I'm unclear on what I should tell the Attorney General of California in order to get that complaint noticed. If ICANN is a 501(c)3 organization and I write to say they aren't serving the public, isn't that sort of like writing the Attorney General to tell him you don't like what the Salvation Army spends its money on, or something?
What duties do 501(c)3 orgs take on and what counts as a legitimate criticism of their practices?
That is, what should I say so that the Atty. Gen. will have to take notice?
