I've been using it for almost a year now. It's grand. Did they change/enhance it, for 2003? -S

  S, you are absoluetly right. The /GS switch did exist in VC++ .NET 7.0. I should have made that more clear. It has been greatly enhanced however in 7.1. See my latest post for more info on this and buffer overruns Buffer Overruns and /GS flag
