I hope Apple don't port OS X to x86 chips. We expect high quality from Apple, not the sort of crud Microsoft churn out like a sewage outlet. Outside of Microsoft's slack coding, they don't control the hardware, which means Windows will never be as stable as Mac OS X running on Apple hardware.
As for the keyboard, geez, get over it. Most keyboards are this way. You must have *very* small hands if pressing the control key contorts your hand. Use your little pinky, works a treat.
