Glad to find someone explain the different standards so well. I am UK based American and was a bit dissapointed to not hear more about what is happening in Europe, but can find more information locally.


We live in a fairly rural village, with little to no access to DSL via copper lines. I am in process of gathering community support for a wireless infrastructure in ours and surrounding villages. I shall let you know more once the project is off the ground. Thanks for the info.. I'll keep you posted.
